Great pack for intial Magma's Review by Martin

Overall

I love this pack. It has everything I need to carry my Magma around. However, I have since moved on to the Clearomizers, and the Mega ones at that. This pack is just simply not made for those. They are too tall, and with a clearomizer on the battery, plus a Drip Tip, the top wont close for the spare slot in the back. If there is anyway you can revamp this for the Plus sized Magma's such as the ones with a Mega Clearomizers, I would love that. However until that comes around, I am forced to use the Inferno's Carry Pack, which does not have a recharge on the go. (Posted on 3/20/13)

Magma packs are great, I like to joke around and say it's a Medium Health pack from Tomb Raider, (little joke there) but you gotta have this. I'll have usually three clearomizers held in the back, one battery (not screwed in unless I'm charging) in the charger hole, a battery connected with a tankomizer in the back holder hole, then I have three blank tanks in the front. Mega M-Pack Please! Review by Kriss

I've been using the Mega M batteries with the regular Magma Pack for charging purposes. I love the Magma Packs! They look better than a cigarette pack and are definitely perfect for on-the-go charging and hanging out in social situations. Problem is, the Mega M Batteries are so much longer than the original batteries they were made for, the pack lid can't close. I also agree that the slots should be made bigger for the Clearos and Cartos for easier carrying. Of course, the Mega M Batteries plus Clearomizer plus the rubber tip that comes with the clearomizers makes for an extra long ecig. But if possible, I would really really LOVE a Mega M Pack charger/carrying case for these. And perhaps one that fits more than two batteries and a little more than five clearomizers for those of us that like to have options.

I also agree that the LED light inside the pack really doesn't really help me to see inside the pack at all from its current position. It could probably be removed all together or moved and made brighter or bigger.

Otherwise, I love your products and have begun recommending your ecigs to my co-workers who want to quit smoking. Thank you, Volcano!

I love it the only problem is minor and imsure modifying the pack a little would fix the problem, the problem is that when a battery is charging it wont click closed and my tips end up in the bottom of my pocket but ive found that a peice of duck tape works wonders not very sightly but a small price to pay for not having to be tied down to a wall or a usb port ona computer, ive had many differentvolcano products and this is my favorite feature, the volcano pack was alrigh because of the button being onthe front ut i see that issue was addressed with this magnificent newer pack. So far the M-pack has been great. Holds plenty of tanks and charges plenty of batteries.

The slot for the extra battery+Atty can be a bit annoying if you put only a battery in it and it goes down to the bottom where it's hard to reach. Annoying but certainly not a deal breaker.

Quality and finish are nice.

The LED light is useless in its current state.
They should forget about using it as a "flashlight" and just put the LED in the top of the pack to illuminate the inside. Then it would have some real value.

Aside from the two minor (very very minor) annoyances listed above, I'm loving the M-Pack and highly recommend it.

I am ordering this m pack for my set up and since you guys dont have those pre-filled carts any more you should make a new model with out the holes cut for the carts and make room for the cartimizers, maybe stretch it out so the mega can fit inside it closed, Also a charger for the bats that can compare to the usb charge up and make the m pak more dense overall replacing the plastic with some metal. I love the magma personal charging case. The only thing that bothers me is a full assembled ecig won't fit in it. I always have it out anyway. I have it in my purse, or pocket for easy reach. Other than that, the case works great and charges on the go. Love it. (Posted on 10/10/11)

This Pack has been working fine for me since I got my Magma kit.

The only thing I would change about it is to make it taller. It's the height of a Volcano PCC, and all the things I like to use, like Tankomizers, or Cartos, won't fit assembled in this pack.

With that exception, it has charged 4 bats at a time. It might do 5, but I have always recharged the pack by then. (Posted on 8/31/11)

so i thinking and it came to me a pcc with the front two slots for carts dug down a little more so that it can fit the maga cartos/clearos but still have the back 3 for reg carts and the reg sized cartos/clearos so that its for every vapeing style and if you want to take it overboard and make like a case for the magma pcc and put a little pocket on the side to hold like a 5 ml or a 10 ml bottle of juice....

I got one of these with my starter kit. Using this in tandem with the tankomizers and magma batteries was great. I would charge it at my computer during the day and it would charge my batts when I was on the go. But it conveniently died after about 30days, which happens to be the warrantee length I believe.

As per Trevor's disclaimer, this is not a review, but a bit of info. From my model helicopter flying, I've learned that it's not a good thing to drain a Lithium battery entirely. This can limit the life of the battery. Lithium batteries do not work like NiCad batteries, and don't have the "memory" NiCads did. Temperature also plays a role: running a lithium battery in cold conditions causes it to drain quickly (I can attest to this playing with model helis in my New Englad basement in the dead of winter), and running one in high temperatures apparently shortens its life. As far as I've been able to determine, based on the aforementioned studies and personal experience, you should keep your Lithium batteries charged if in use, and don't try to discharge them entirely, as that may shorten their useable life. (Posted on 6/21/11)

I am a service tech, I am in my truck all day driving to 7 -12 homes all over New Jersey. 12v outlets in my truck are scarce, I actually have a 1 into 3 adapter you can buy for more devices, but they are always being used.. phone charger, flashlight charger, GPS, you name it I have to charge it, these are tools I need everyday for work.
So to have a small, self contained sytem like the M-Pack is a lifesaver to me !
The fact that it will store and charge everything I need to vape me through the day is simply awesome. Thanks Volcano!

P.S. I know you guys think of ways to improve our vaping needs 24 -7, it keeps you on the cutting edge, and I just know your working on a M-Pack100 as we speak.. Right?! (hint hint nudge nudge).
A 100's size M-Pack would fit the mega carto's and batts and a bigger battery and a whole bunch more of your products andwould be more awesomer. ; )

Good and confusing Review by TazD579

At first look, I was impressed with the M-Pack, coming from using a Joye 510 PCC. There are slots for 5 carts, a charging space for a batt, and then what appears to be a slot for an atty+tank and a slot for a tank+batt. The 510 PCC only had the charging slot, a slot for an atty+tank and 2 carts. Looks are a slight deceiving, however.

The flashlight, while nice, is unnecessary. I'm always worried it will be locked on in my pocket, draining the case. Upon use, a few things came up confusing. For starters, the 510 PCC is spring loaded, making it easier to use for three reasons: 1) You put in the battery and shut the lid and it starts charging, 2) since charging starts upon closing the case, your battery is always topped off, and 3) you open the case, pull out the batt, screw on your atty and you're good to go. (I *think* the reason for not going with the spring is that you have to have something to hold the case shut; the solution with the 510 pack is a spring hinge, and there have been issues with them.) In the M-pack, the batt is SCREWED in. If you use a full set-up, it is the dickens to try to take it out; you have to take out the spare batt and tank+atty to remove it. "Ok, then," you might think, "I'll just use the spare batt and the tank+atty since I have them all out anyway!" Only problem with that is that you also have your spare atty hooked up to that spare batt. Go ahead, put that spare atty back in the pack without a tank or batt connected to it. Good luck getting it out without a pair of tweezers. I pretty much have to carry around my blank cart, and that's one less cart I can tote about. Why they didn't make the space for the spare batt or atty only deep enough to hold a batt or atty without having something attached to it eludes me.

The other baffling thing is the button. It appears to be single button, but it has dual uses dependent on which END of the button you press. The top end of the button, nearest the light, surprisingly activates the light. If you hold it down for 3-5 seconds, the light stays lit. The bottom end of the button, near the USB connection, flashes the LCD display, and holding it for 3-5 seconds activates the charger. NONE of this is readily apparent in the manual; all it says is to hold the button for 3-5 seconds, wait for the battery to flash and the LCD to turn from red to orange. I spent over 5 minutes turning the light on and off trying to get the battery to charge before finally figuring out that there are two ends to the button. It needs either an indentation or a better manual. I know there's a link above for a how-to video, but it comes up private.

I know I sounds like I'm complaining a lot, but all-in-all, the case is great! Instead of having a topped off batt at all times, I just vape a battery until I kill it, so I only have to deal the with screw once or twice a day. I keep the spare battery with no atty on it and attempt to screw in the atty+tank to retrieve it (it is a bit difficult sometimes with the auto-batt since there's no button to catch it). The case seems to be of rugged construction (it was knocked out of my hands yesterday, causing no issues with the case or contents), and the LCD meter is a better indicator than "light on or off to charge).

All-in-all, I'm happy with the M-pack. It's just a matter of figuring it out! (Posted on 5/24/11)

This is really cool. If you're a heavy smoker/vaper, this is a must for when you're away from a power source. It'll charge a battery about 4-5 times before it's out of juice. If you're near a computer, charging the M-pack is easy.

This is an important item to help prevent a newcomer from getting discouraged because their batteries are dead. I also hear that the new manual m-batteries will now fit in this. (Posted on 3/12/11)

I really liked this M-pack when I first got my Magma Deluxe Kit, but now I don't use it at all for a couple of reasons. I like to use the Magma Mega Batts and they don't fit in this. The regular M-batteries do, but they don't even last me an hour, so I don't use them. I actually returned the M-batts because they kept shorting out on me. There isn't really much room in these except for carts and cartomizers. Well I got sick of carts because after the juice at the top of them are vaped, the rest of the cart vapes really bad(taste/hit). The cartomizers
leak into the M-pack which makes a mess. They should come with caps for the threaded end. I recommend getting either Magma Mega Batts or Inferno Batts and an Inferno Case. There is plenty of room in the Inferno case for both Mega batts and Inferno batts and plenty of room for all your accessories. Since both of these batts hold such a big charge, you won't need to charge on the go as long a you buy a couple extra. (Posted on 12/5/10)

I bought 2 starter packs each with extra batteries and atomizers and was hoping to get the separate pcc some day as volcano ecig has one allready.
To my surprise they got this so soon, since I know this site, it just felt like they listened to my wish.
Now with the option to buy the PCC separately I ended up with 3 complete sets.
PCCs are exact same in everything except the spring in battery charging slot seems to be a bit longer when battery is placed up-side down.
FYI: You can charge it with any spare USB cable you have from digital camera, mp3 player, etc just plug into PC or USB wall outlet and youre all set.

My only quib would be that the assembled magma doesnt fit into the pack, making it less useful for carrying your Magma with you. I would love for Volcanoecigs to develop a pack that fits the assembled Mag in it, (Hint, Hint web manager :) so we faithful vocano-vapers can have the ease of simply pulling out the Magma and taking a drag. That utilitarian feature would make this the BEST e-cig pack out there, because the Magma is already the best e-cig... Im gonna buy a carrying case for now, good call there. (Posted on 6/10/10)

I recently got the pack and took me hours to actually figure out how to use this properly. Actually the only way i figured out ho to use it was by searching the forums. The battery indicator on the front is a great idea and works wonderfully for know how much charge you have left in the pack. what i havn't figured out is how to tell when your battery is fully charged or if it is still charging.
