I find myself constantly charging this,at full charge it makes flavors pop right out of the atty. The flavor will decline as you use it, so charge and charge again. Great product, good service. Will recommenced this. But i think im going to be switching to the inferno as i am a heavy all day vaper. (Posted on 8/28/11)

One went bad, one works fine Review by Pete

I had one of the manual batts go bad on me. I suspect the switch or battery, as it worked once for me when walking through the RMA questions after failing consistently under normal use. Initially, both batts had no problem, but the bad one stopped holding a charge, and worked intermittently. I'll update with the results of the RMA. (Posted on 6/22/11)

I received the purple one... it didn't even work... the purple led illuminated once.. and then nothing... Got ripped on this one...

I just ordered a new usb charger hoping that perhaps my charger was broken and it just needs a good charge... lets hope i didn't waste another order. (Posted on 6/11/11)

The battery itself is wonderful, it lasts a lifetime compared to my old volcano batt, and the button makes sure it doesn't go off during band practice or other loud environments. It also fits in the M Pack and charges great. I only have two concerns. One is the fact that the button sticks out a BIT too much when screwing into the M pack and I dented the rubber slightly. The other is the fact that the battery itself is TOO LONG and when I leave it anywhere in the pack, the pack won't close properly. So I keep it in my pocket slightly open, which is kind of a drag.
However, as far as functionality, totally worthwhile.

Aside from the mega manual this is my favorite magma batt. Unfortunately I have only had one out of three that would thread into the Mpack for charging. I reccomend the M usb charger to go with this item. (Posted on 1/4/11)

NEW BUTTON! Review by patrick

I really enjoy the NEW manual battery the button is 100% better than the old rubber one that always got stuck. The only problem that I face is that carrying in your pocket the button will get pressed without you knowing and will burn out your atty quicker than normal, but that's pretty much the only problem I have and thats not volcanos fault, keep up the good work guys!

P.S. I haven't smoked a tobacco cigarette since I opend my magma deluxe starter kit in august and now only smoke the magma at night after work! (Posted on 12/29/10)

Listen manual is the way to go, but for an extra 2 bucks you can get the mega manual battery. Mega lasts all day, these last a few hours. So to sum up, if you have to have a green led, get this. If you want a battery that lasts get the mega. (Posted on 12/19/10)

I ordered them right after they got them back in stock red led only few days ago to this date. I received two different models: CY8033 & JI6952.
Both batteries differs from ones I ordered with the starter packs way back. Theyre 2/8" longer and the buttons are smaller. They are hard to click JI6952 doesnt even "click" its hard to say if you pressed the button or not, you have to guess or stare at the tip led... and the rubber button even slipped beneath the open numerous times as it doesnt stick out as in previous manual batteries. I have to press it with care not to get the rubber button stuck again because it keeps the atty on until it starts flashing from overvaping. It is 2/8" longer but it still fits the PCC well.
Other than these issues it runs great and imho is better than automatic battery.
