   If you are looking at trying an e-cig then you need to go ahead and buy the magma. The v is a solid product and i do own a kit, but if you are like me and were a pack a day smoker or more this product will not satisfy you. The vapor production, and throat hit is greater on the magma (meaning it will fell more like you are smoking an actual cigarette)

   If you're new to vaping, Volcano is a great e-cig to try. The sampler kit comes with an excellent instruction manual that not only teaches users how to use their kit but also how to vape with the e-cigarette. Well worth the money.
   
   I also need to mention that their customer service is fantastic. I placed an order for extra cartridges yesterday and received the shipment notification within 20 minutes. Talk about fast! (Posted on 8/12/10)

   My girlfriend bought me this as a surprise gift because she HATES that I smoke (or, used to). I was a typical pack-a-day Marlboro smoker, and she was fed up with it. The final straw for me, though, was the recent tax hike; most packs are 9-10 dollars here in New York now. I can't afford that.
   
   I was sold on the first drag. The tobacco flavor it comes with really does taste like a cigarette, it's fantastic. I can't wait to try all the other flavors now, I already have menthol and pineapple punch on the way right now! For me, my smoking addiction is as much psychological as it is physical. It's such a built in habit for me that I just have to smoke *something*. And the fact is, I do enjoy smoking, but the risks aren't worth it. If you're like me in this regard, this product is definitely for you.
   
   The only thing that confuses me a bit is the price of the kit. After going through the website, I found that buying all these items separately from the 'accessories' section actually comes out to be cheaper. What's up with that?    Long time smoker, first time vapor-er.
   
   -Some background-
   I have smoked since I was 15 yrs old, from 1-2 packs a day in either Doral or Marlboro Lights. I am going on 36...so do the math. I recently had tried my mother-in-laws No.7 ecig and though it was interesting, I felt it didn't hit all that well and tasted like smoking a broke cigarette, very airy.
   
   I then talked to a good friend that after 6 years of quitting smoking, started up on analogs again. He told me that he (recently) had bought the Volcano and Magma, and was loving it! He could not say enough about the company and how good their support is with the forums etc. He is analog free ever since.
   
   I decided to buy the V-kit sampler (as $40 was all my wife would allow =-).
   I ordered it early Thursday morning and received it the following Monday (which was good, being that it came from Hawaii).
   
   While waiting and doing research on the Volcano, I was amazed that after reading a lot of posts and watching videos, I could ***not*** find a bad review. Believe me, I tried. That's is what impressed me the most. The only thing I was worried about was, in every video, the guy seemed to always take 6 second drags off of the Volcano and on analogs I take about a 2 sec drag. I asked my friend do you have to take a 6 second drag to get the same hit as a analog? He assured me no but said that smoking a ecig is a little different than a analog.
   
   -Review-
   Ok, first off. I bought the sampler. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get the V-pack as everyone said it was awesome. But that is my own fault because I didn't study the image and content description. I will just order one next payday for a measley $12, no biggie. I also got the full flavor because I thought if I get the lights and they are too light I will vape more. But if I get the full flavor and it is too strong, I would just have to vape less. I usually smoke lights.
   
   I scraped away the tin foil on the cartridge because my friend said to, screwed it in and hit it.
   WOW! Folks, this thing not only hits like a analog cig, but the taste is *BETTER*! Then, just to compare and dispell the 6 second drag issue, I took one. Cough Cough, that was a little too much for me, so my theory is most of the video reviewers must be real heavy smokers to be taking 6 second drags like they do.
   
   I just hit it again while typing this. Honestly, if the end was soft and the Volcano slightly lighter in weight and you blindfolded me, I would think I was smoking a good stronger Marlboro light!
   
   I highly recommend it for people that want desperately to quit. You know, $40 is not that much to be ash/cigarette butt free and being able to smoke anywhere if **nothing** else. Throw in the fact that you will save tons of money (I am told the e liquid can be bought for $12 and lasts about 2-3 weeks, here in Texas 1 pack is $5-$6) and you are getting just nicotine and not 4000 cancer causing carcinogens and this is the deal of the century!

   Just received this about 10 mins ago been "vaping" at work. To get alot of smoke like vapor just take a few quick puffs. I got the cheery light nicotine one. It tastes like a swisher sweet mini cigar. Seems like a great idea. It produces alot of vapor and doesn't stink up the office I am sitting it. I haven't checked to see how long i can smoke(Vape) but so far its pretty good. (Posted on 3/29/10)
