The LUC V2 Two Bay Battery Charger by Efest is a dependable universal smart charger made to be compatible with all types of rechargeable batteries available on the market. It is built with a bright LCD operating screen that shows the charging status and voltage rating of up to two batteries while being used and also comes packaged with a wall adapter and car charging cable.
Efest’s LUC V2 battery charger is designed with two charging ports and is compatible with most 3.7 volt Li-Ion or LiMn batteries such as: 10440, 14500, 14650, 17670, 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 18700, 26500 and 26650. The LUC V2 charger features protection safeguards like short circuit protection, over voltage protection, over discharge protection and reverse polarity protection.
The distinctive feature of the LUC V2 battery charger is its USB charging port located on the back of the device. Using a fully charged battery in charging port 2, the LUC V2 charger can charge electronic devices like: smart phones, iPads, gaming devices, MP3 players, etc—a convenient feature that is great while traveling.
If the LUC V2’s rectangle button is pressed, the charging mode (0.5A / 1A) can be changed in order to charge batteries of different sizes (ex: 3.6V / 3.7V Li-Ion batteries)
While the charger is plugged in, each charging port features its own separate reverse polarity protection that prevents short circuits from occurring during use. LCD will display “Er” (Error) and will not charge until the battery has been placed right side up.
The LUC V4 battery charger will automatically stop charging once the battery has reached its full capacity in order to prevent overcharging or damaging cells.
Charger will stop charging automatically when the battery voltage is under 2V within 5 seconds; “Er” mark on LCD screen will disappear once the battery is taken out.
The LUC V2 charger is able to charge most USB devices such as smart phones, iPads, music players, gaming devices, etc. To use this feature, disconnect the device from the wall, place a fully charged battery into charging port #2, plug your device into one of the USB ports located on the back of the charger and press and hold the rectangle button of the charger for 2 seconds to begin charging.
