I just wanted to bump this thread because this method was able to fix my 2 new tech batts. Re-aligning the connector plates was exactly what it needed!

tried this on my battery tonight, didn't work :-( oh well, my replacement should be here any day now.

If I did this right, it didn't work for me. However, if you suck on the connecting end of the batt, it will light up. So I don't want to throw it away.

Have you tried blowing through the led end? that helped me with a magma battery once.

This fixed mine. I got a brand new magma t kit an the auto battery was not working. turned out this was the problem. Thanks for posting!

Just saved one of my atomizers today doing this! :D I was just gonna throw it out, but decided to check the forums first and found this! :thumbup: Definitely worth a try if your atty isn't working right.

I think its worth stating that a paper-clip is not necessary to do this. All i have to do is get my fingernail under the edge of the metal disk and carefully pry it out a tiny bit.

this helped my problem of there being an air passage at this connection although it hasn't completely fixed it, but thanks! it seems like having long finger nails is almost a necessity of using an ecig lol gross
