North Carolina: RJ Reynolds-Sponsored Bill to Restrict Online Sales of E-Cigarettes -- HB 864 / SB 630


If enacted, this bill would:
- Require all retailers of "vapor products" (e-cigarettes) in North Carolina who sell via the Internet to purchase expensive age verification software at a cost of approximately $7,000 a year.
